A beautiful, genuine, hand made Batik from Java. Tuli is the Indonesian
word used to describe a batik that is totally handmade by "kanting"
(pouring) the wax onto the material. It is not made by stamp or by
mechanically printing onto the material. This is the traditional and
most labour intensive way of making a batik.
From Central Java,
most likely Yogyakarta, this one is a nice old soft cotton with a white
background and lovely shades of blue, purple and black floral motif. All
natural dyes and in good condition apart from one medium hole on the
